In 1960 at the age of 8, I received Christ as Savior at a camp in Hillsdale, MI. 13 years later as my wife and I were praying-in the new year, on January 1, 1973. I sensed the Lord's leading to preach His Word. I asked Him for a Scriptural confirmation and immediately saw 1 Thess. 5:24, "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." In July 1975, we moved to Clyde OH where for 14+ years I served alongside Pastor James Lewis in many positions including Assistant Pastor, School Principal, Youth Pastor, and Radio Station Manager. I spent one year in another ministry as a Learning Center supervisor and College Academic Dean in Conneaut, OH in 1980-81. In 1990, Mt. Zion Baptist Church called me as the sixth pastor in their thirty-one year history. I served as their pastor until the Fall of 2013 when we launched into a full-time evangelistic ministry across America and Canada and now the world.

I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio to Christian parents. At the age of 13 I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. At 16 I preached my first sermon, “Time on Your Hands.” It was from this time that I had a strong desire to be a gospel preacher. I married Rebecca Rector on July 10, 1965. Rebecca and I had the same desire to enter the gospel ministry. We were so excited! We started our full-time evangelistic ministry in 1966. In 1968 we became the state of Ohio used tractors for our organization. In 1971 I became the assistant pastor and choir director of our local church in Lima, Ohio. In 1973 I became the pastor of the Clyde Pentecostal church now known as the Harvest Baptist Temple in Clyde Ohio. We have had so many blessings with a great group of Christians all around us. What a blessing to be there pastor for 44 years. We retired from the senior pastor position July 1, 2017. Today today we are still enjoying traveling, preaching, and singing. Our lives have been blessed. My wife and I have two children, Ken and Lynette and seven grand children and seven great grandchildren. It has been our joy to be used of God for all of these years.
